Single Highest Graded John Buscema's All time classic cover, Silver Surfer #1 !! Who in their right mind would crack a CGC 9.8 from it's holder to have it signed ? We did !! Having purchased a total of 3 9.8's over the years, this was certainly the strongest of the three in grade and the only one worthy of taking such a risk. As many can attest, this does not always happen. SILVER SURFER #1 is very scarce in high grade. In fact out of all of the 1968 #1's Silver Surfer #1 is the most difficult to attain in CGC 9.8. A 50+ year old CGC 9.8 square bound Marvel is already a scarcity in it's own right, add to the fact that this particular issue boast an all black high gloss cover and was handled and signed by Stan Lee, it's no wonder that this copy resides as the "ONE AND ONLY - SINGLE HIGHEST GRADED COPY.
