Mr Guice is the creator of this striking cover of Aquaman rising triumphantly from the sea for Aquaman: Sword of Atlantis #43.Aquaman is celebrating 75 straight years in comic books this year. He first appeared in More Fun Comics #73 in 1941 and he's been around ever since. The character just made his big-screen debut in a small part in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and he will be receiving his own solo movie in 2018 after being officially introduced in the 2017 Justice League movie. Cover art by a fine artist like Guice should only increase in demand as all of this massive public exposure occurs. Jackson "Butch" Guice got his start working for Marvel in the 80s on Micronauts. He's probably best known for his work on Superman in Action Comics during the "Death of Superman" storyline, his work on Birds of Prey and his more recent work with Ed Brubaker on Captain America.
The art has an approximate image area of 21" X 16".
